This
year we will be watching the Academy Award ceremonies and rooting for Lincoln
the Steven Spielberg directed film that leads the pack with 12 Oscar nominations,
including for Best Picture and Best Director.
We played an infinitesimally small supporting role when, as third-party
Amazon sellers, during on-location production we shipped a period history book
to Sally Field at her hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Miss Field plays Mary Todd Lincoln, who
lived a most public tragedy losing a child and her husband while First Lady. She
has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
In an ABC interview Miss Field says, “When I delved in and really researched [Mary Todd Lincoln] I feel she will always be embedded in me.” Congratulations, we will be rooting especially for you Sally Field!
